ICRA Fall Conference

Due to the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, the Indiana Cancer Registrars Association Board of Directors made the necessary decision to cancel the Indiana Cancer Registrars Association Fall workshop that was originally scheduled for November 5-6, 2020, in Indy/Carmel at the Drury .  Note that Tracy Paulus and Peggy Downs, Program Co-Chairs have secured the Drury for November 2021, Lord Willing and the Creek Don’t Rise!  Thanks Tracy and Peggy.

Protecting the health, safety, and well-being of our members, and attendees, is paramount, and serves as the reason for our decision to cancel the ICRA Fall Workshop.  Cancelling is the right thing to do during this historic time.

Our Executive Board, Board of Directors and Annual Program Team have been meeting frequently planning alternative educational opportunities for our ICRA members BECAUSE we don’t want to give up on ICRA members.

In lieu of our Fall Workshop we plan on offering several monthly educational (CE eligible) sessions beginning in August going through December.  We hope to cover very exciting subjects that are applicable to everyday registry activity.  We also will plan on doing a virtual annual meeting and installation of 2021 ICRA Officers!!

Please make sure to visit ICRA’s web site @ https://icra-indiana.net/educational-opportunities/  for more information such as webinar dates/times, CE and registration information.

Contact me @ vesichv@yahoo.com if you have any questions.  Details of what we are planning will be posted on ICRA’s web site and via your emails in the days, weeks and months ahead.

I want to thank YOU ICRA, my Executive and Board of Directors for your commitment to ICRA members.

Please make sure too – to spread the word to members that you think may not access their emails. 😊

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and unwavering commitment to ICRA!  I pray every day for this nightmare to be all over and we can plan an in-person meeting!  Let’s focus on the good things that will happen.  Prayers to all of you and your family members and friends from the ICRA Board.

Yours Very Truly,

Valerie
