Mission
The Indiana Cancer Registrars Association’s mission is to provide education and training; promote the collection of complete, quality cancer data; disseminate information; encourage communication among members; and promote professionalism in the field cancer registry.
Purpose
To increase the level of knowledge and performance of registrars through continuing education.
To disseminate information to members regarding current activities, research, and trends in the registry field.
To initiate and/or participate in programs to improve and standardize registry information.
To seek active liaisons with professional and governmental organizations which utilize registry data.
